Getaway to Salt Lake City . . .

Steven and I always enjoy going to the Joseph Smith Memorial Bldg. We love the movie, Joseph Smith, the Restoration, what a wonderful tribute to our Prophet, Joseph Smith. We also ate dinner at the Roof restaurant. It was a really rainy day so we didn't get to have a horse and carriage ride like we normally would.

You can see how rainy it was from inside the Roof Restaurant. I always love seeing pictures of the Salt Lake Temple. What a magnificant temple.

We stayed at the Little America hotel and had a gorgeous room with a perfect view.

Steven and I had a wonderful weekend together. Thank you Chelsea for watching the kids and doing such a great job.

Happy Birthday Steven, I love you very much. You are a wonderful husband and father and I hope you had a great birthday dear. Thank you for being such a loving husband.

I Love Mother's Day . . .

I love being a mother to our sweet son, McKay. He brings me a lot of joy and love. I also have three foster girls whom I also love. One day I will be able to show their pictures on my blog.

Steven gave me a dozen beautiful red roses for Mother's Day. He is always so thoughtful.

Steven also gave me a couple of cards and lovely gifts. He also took me out to Red Lobster on Friday. I have a wonderful husband and family. I am very lucky.

Happy St. Patrick's Day . . .

McKay enjoyed wearing green to preschool today. Everyone in his class had green on except for one little girl, but he said that no one pinched her. I made McKay and Faith green macaroni and cheese for lunch, they loved it. For dinner, I am going to make a pistachio salad and a few other green items.

Happy Valentine's Day To My Dear Family and Friends . . .

We had a quiet Valentine's Day this year. It fell on a Sunday and half of my kids were home from church sick so Steven and I had to take turns going to our meetings. I decided to make a fun red dinner with salmon, red potatoes, strawberry salad, etc. Steven and I exchanged cards and candy and gave cards and treats to the kids. McKay enjoyed taking Valentines to friends in the ward and Grandma and Grandpa Pearson.
