Las Vegas Vacation - Celebrating Family . . .

We had a party for Dad Butala, he turned 88; for Linda and Rick, they were getting married the next week; and for Sean, he went to Mexico.

Las Vegas Vacation - At the Park with Family . . .

We spent Saturday with Linda, Rick and Sean and found a cute little park where the kids could play in the sand, on the swings and slides and in the water.

Faith loved the sand, right after playing in the water.

Teasing cousin Sean was another fun activity for the girls.

We also went shopping with Taylor and she had an amazing time.

Aspen Grove Lodge

Our family stayed at the Aspen Grove Lodge last weekend, which was sponsored by the Foster Care Foundation. We had the best weekend ever.

Getaway to Salt Lake City . . .

Steven and I always enjoy going to the Joseph Smith Memorial Bldg. We love the movie, Joseph Smith, the Restoration, what a wonderful tribute to our Prophet, Joseph Smith. We also ate dinner at the Roof restaurant. It was a really rainy day so we didn't get to have a horse and carriage ride like we normally would.

You can see how rainy it was from inside the Roof Restaurant. I always love seeing pictures of the Salt Lake Temple. What a magnificant temple.

We stayed at the Little America hotel and had a gorgeous room with a perfect view.

Steven and I had a wonderful weekend together. Thank you Chelsea for watching the kids and doing such a great job.

Vacation to St. George . . .

We went to a fun place called Jumpin Jacks. McKay loved bouncing on everything.

We had fun miniature golfing.

McKay loved all the arcade games.

We went swimming most every day. We had a wonderful vacation and much needed rest in St. George. The weather was perfect.

Beautiful Fall Scenery in Midway . . .

Every year Steven, McKay and I go to Midway with my parents. We usually go up the first or second week in September, which is the perfect time of the year. We had a fantastic time.

It was beautiful in Midway this year, we saw a lot of brilliant reds in the hills and mountains. What a glorious time to go on vacation. Thank you Steven for taking such amazing pictures.
