Happy 11th Anniversary Sweetheart . . .

Steven and I celebrated our 11th anniversary while on vacation in Las Vegas. We decided to order room service and enjoy a fun evening together with McKay.

Our room was gorgeous.

We had a breathtaking view of the golf course from our window. Too bad we don't play golf.

We Love Grandpa Butala . . .

We arrived in Vegas on Friday the 19th and went over to Steven's Dad's house. McKay had a lot of fun playing with Grandpa Butala. Those two had a good time together. We all love Grandpa Butala. Happy Father's Day.

We Enjoyed our Vacation to St. George and Vegas . . .

I love the St. George Temple. It was a gorgeous day.

McKay enjoyed running up and down the stairs.

I love knowing that families can be together forever.

We spent some time in the visitor's center.

I Am So Proud of My Father . . .

I want my father to know how much we love and appreciate him. He is the greatest father in the whole world and the best grandpa ever. My father just received a new church calling in one of the BYU wards and Steven and I had the priviledge of going over to campus on Sunday when he was set apart. It was a wonderful opportunity for us. Also, Father's Day is this next weekend and since we will be out of town, McKay and I went over to my parents house last night so we could tell Dad how much we love him, wish him a Happy Father's Day and give him our gifts and cards. We are very proud of you Dad and have always looked up to you. Thank you for always being there for your children and grandchildren. Not only have you taught us the gospel, but you have lived it throughout your life while serving your family, 4 missions, your church callings, etc. You are an amazing man and we love you so much. Happy Father's Day.

Happy Birthday to My Dear Husband . . .

Happy Birthday Steven. You are a wonderful husband and father and I love you with all my heart. I hope you know how much I enjoy being married to you and living my life with you. Thank you for being the person you are and for radiating the gospel in our home. I am proud of you and appreciate the kindness you show to our son and foster daughters. One day, I hope to be able to serve a mission with you.

A Fun Day at Hogle Zoo . . .

McKay and the girls really enjoyed the Merry Go Round, this is a new attraction at the Zoo.

This elephant sprays water to anyone who gets in front of it. McKay thought it was a lot of fun to ride on its trunk.

You cannot leave the Zoo without riding on the train.

We had a wonderful day at the Zoo on Saturday. It rained all the way going up, but it ended up to be a great day and everyone had a good time.

McKay is Growing Up Way Too Fast . . .

My parents found this cute jeep at a garage sale a couple years ago and McKay pointed out to us that he is big enough to ride it by himself. He used to have to ride with someone. Wow, he is really getting to be a big boy.

McKay loves the new pool we got. He loves being in water and outside.

Extravaganza Kind of Fun . . .

We took all the kids to the Rock Canyon Extravaganza and everyone had a really good time. The kids enjoyed the carnival rides, games, prizes, treats, etc.

I Have the Greatest Mother in the Whole World . . .

I am so proud of my mother and I want her to know how much I love and appreciate her. She has always been such a positive influence in my life. She loves the Lord and the Gospel and radiates such a spark from her knowledge of the scriptures, dedication to temple work, and acts of service. She is the kindest person you will ever meet. She has a great love for people and shows charity to all. She loves everyone she comes in contact with and they love her right back. She is so good to me and my family. Where would we be without wonderful mothers in our lives? It was so fun to have my parents over for Mother's Day. They are great people.

My loving husband gave me these beautiful flowers for Mother's Day. He is such a wonderful husband and father and I love him very much.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day and enjoyed being with my family. I love being a mother to our sweet son McKay. He is the light of my life and I love him so much. I enjoy the foster girls that live with us, they are good girls.

Where a Kid Can be a Kid . . .

We took the entire family to Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday. We had lunch, played games and rode lots of rides. McKay had a wonderful time with the girls.

Happy Easter to my Wonderful Family and Friends . . .

On Easter we enjoyed: playing with the singing duck,

new Easter clothes for Church,

a fun Easter egg hunt,

a basket full of toys and goodies,

and a fun scavenger hunt.

On this special Easter Sunday, I want to thank my wonderful family and friends for being such good examples to me. Where we would be without the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? We are so blessed to be able to celebrate Easter and our Savior's resurrection. We have had several days of rain, and then we woke up this beautiful Easter morning to sunshine. What a glorious day for all of us? Church was amazing today, the talks were so appropriate.

I have a wonderful husband and I love him dearly. He is a fantastic husband and father. I love our son McKay and am very proud of him. I am also thankful to be sharing our lives with three foster girls. I have a lot of wonderful pictures of them, however, I am unable to post them on my blog. They are great girls and are enjoying being a part of our family. This was the first time they celebrated Easter, so we made it extra special for everyone.

I also have wonderful parents and appreciate all they do for my family. They gave me life and I will always be grateful to them and their unconditional love for me.

Fun Easter Weekend . . .

We made cupcakes and decorated Easter eggs and all played Uno as a family. The girls are really starting to enjoy being in our home.

Steven fired up the grill and barbequed his delicious hamburgers.

McKay loves his car sweatshirt and his crash up car set. He is a boy who loves all cars, trucks, and trains.
