We Love the Zoo . . .

During spring break, I took the kids to the Hogle Zoo. We had such a wonderful time together as a family.

We love riding on the train.

McKay wanted to sit next to me on the train.

The water was turned off, but McKay wanted to pretend he was putting his head in the lion's mouth. This is always a fun picture.

Who doesn't love riding on the elephant?

Taylor is 5 foot 7 inches, just as tall as an adult male gorilla.

Our Trip to the Zoo . . .

We had a really fun time at the Hogle Zoo this year. I took my kids and Taylor and Jessika each brought a friend, Emily and Amber.

Faith was amazed at all the animals, etc. She was a good girl all day.

McKay especially loved the carousel and the train. He chose to sit on a grasshopper rather than a lion or bear.

Jessika had a really cute bear on the carousel ride.

We loved all the animals at the Zoo. They didn't have any bears this year, they were re-doing their habitat.

A Fun Day at Hogle Zoo . . .

McKay and the girls really enjoyed the Merry Go Round, this is a new attraction at the Zoo.

This elephant sprays water to anyone who gets in front of it. McKay thought it was a lot of fun to ride on its trunk.

You cannot leave the Zoo without riding on the train.

We had a wonderful day at the Zoo on Saturday. It rained all the way going up, but it ended up to be a great day and everyone had a good time.
