Happy Easter to my Wonderful Family and Friends . . .
On Easter we enjoyed: playing with the singing duck,
new Easter clothes for Church,
a fun Easter egg hunt,
a basket full of toys and goodies,
On this special Easter Sunday, I want to thank my wonderful family and friends for being such good examples to me. Where we would be without the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? We are so blessed to be able to celebrate Easter and our Savior's resurrection. We have had several days of rain, and then we woke up this beautiful Easter morning to sunshine. What a glorious day for all of us? Church was amazing today, the talks were so appropriate.
I have a wonderful husband and I love him dearly. He is a fantastic husband and father. I love our son McKay and am very proud of him. I am also thankful to be sharing our lives with three foster girls. I have a lot of wonderful pictures of them, however, I am unable to post them on my blog. They are great girls and are enjoying being a part of our family. This was the first time they celebrated Easter, so we made it extra special for everyone.
I also have wonderful parents and appreciate all they do for my family. They gave me life and I will always be grateful to them and their unconditional love for me.

Updated Pictures of McKay . . .
McKay loves wearing Daddy's hats and acting like he is going to work.
McKay built this snowman a couple weeks ago with the help of our foster girls.
Whenever McKay bumps himself or gets a cut, he likes a bandaid. This was a couple Sundays ago, he wanted to wear the bandaid to church.
Steven and I have three foster girls living with us, but we cannot post pictures of them. We have been extremely busy since the first part of February and so I haven't had a lot of time to update our blog.

My 25 Random Things . . .
I was tagged on facebook a couple of times, so I've decided to write my 25 random things on my blog.
1. I served a mission to Canada Calgary, but we didn't get our VISA in time so myself and two Elders went to Spokane Washington for almost a month, and then on to Canada.
2. Steven and I were engaged after we dated for 3 weeks. We were engaged for almost 4 months before we got married. He sent flowers to my work every week. It was fun to have flowers on Tuesdays.
3. I love flowers, but especially roses. My husband always surprises me with roses on birthdays and Mother's Day.
4. My sister and I were in the BYU children's chorus when we were in grade school. I went on to work in the communications office at BYU and saw the children that year in the chorus. It brought back a lot of memories for me.
5. I had breast cancer right after 9-11 and have been a survivor for almost 8 years. It was a positive experience for me and I hope I can help others through it.
6. I love rainbows, sunsets, waterfalls, and the mountains.
7. I have 32 amazing nieces and nephews.
8. I want to start a garden this year, but don't really know how to begin.
9. My husband and I have been on the Great Wall of China.
10. I visited Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, and Hawaii with a friend.

I Had the Most Amazing Birthday . . .
I received a dozen long stemmed beautiful red roses for my birthday from my dear husband. Thank you honey, that really meant a lot to me. You really helped to make my day special.
I love our sweet son McKay with all my heart. He asked me if he would be a part of my birthday. He is a huge part of my life and I love him so much.
I went to lunch at Mimi's Cafe with my dear parents, sister and niece. Thank you Dad for paying for our lunch.
My niece Breanna (on the left) is such a sweet girl and came to lunch with us. I have the greatest sister in the whole world. She does so much for me and I love her so much.
Dad, Mom and I outside Mimi's Cafe.
That evening, Steven and my parents took me to Magleby's for dinner. We had a wonderful time together.
Thanks for a fun evening guys.
After dinner, we stopped at my sister's house and I was blown away with the biggest surprise party ever. I walked in the door and my entire family were there singing Happy Birthday to me. My parents, Steven and McKay were there. Randy and Toni and their family were all there. My sister, Lynette and her family were all there, except Chelsea was cheering at a game. Brandon and Coleman were there, Lynsi was at a shower. Jeff and Natalie and Brynlie were there. Brad and Cathy and their family came down from Idaho (that was a wonderful surprise), and Ryan and Tyler were there, Carol and the other kids were out of town. My sister and family went to a lot of work to make me feel extra special. They gave me a huge bouquet of balloons, had a video about my life, we played games, had cake and ice cream and they all went in together on a Cricket machine (for scrapbooking, letters, etc). What a thoughtful and unexpected gift. It was a wonderful party and I will always remember the kindness my family showed me.
