I Had the Most Amazing Birthday . . .

I received a dozen long stemmed beautiful red roses for my birthday from my dear husband. Thank you honey, that really meant a lot to me. You really helped to make my day special.

I love our sweet son McKay with all my heart. He asked me if he would be a part of my birthday. He is a huge part of my life and I love him so much.

I went to lunch at Mimi's Cafe with my dear parents, sister and niece. Thank you Dad for paying for our lunch.

My niece Breanna (on the left) is such a sweet girl and came to lunch with us. I have the greatest sister in the whole world. She does so much for me and I love her so much.

Dad, Mom and I outside Mimi's Cafe.

That evening, Steven and my parents took me to Magleby's for dinner. We had a wonderful time together.

Thanks for a fun evening guys.

After dinner, we stopped at my sister's house and I was blown away with the biggest surprise party ever. I walked in the door and my entire family were there singing Happy Birthday to me. My parents, Steven and McKay were there. Randy and Toni and their family were all there. My sister, Lynette and her family were all there, except Chelsea was cheering at a game. Brandon and Coleman were there, Lynsi was at a shower. Jeff and Natalie and Brynlie were there. Brad and Cathy and their family came down from Idaho (that was a wonderful surprise), and Ryan and Tyler were there, Carol and the other kids were out of town. My sister and family went to a lot of work to make me feel extra special. They gave me a huge bouquet of balloons, had a video about my life, we played games, had cake and ice cream and they all went in together on a Cricket machine (for scrapbooking, letters, etc). What a thoughtful and unexpected gift. It was a wonderful party and I will always remember the kindness my family showed me.

Once you get balloons for your birthday, they become McKay's. Have fun with the balloons buddy.

Dad's Birthday and Happy New Year . . .

Dad's birthday is on New Years and we had a wonderful birthday celebration for him. He is the best father ever and we love him so much. Thank you Dad for all you do for everyone. We had dinner and dessert with most of the family and had a great evening.

Lacie is holding Natalie's little girl Brynlie and Natalie is holding Ryker (Lacie's baby). Nick and Lacie were on their way back from Idaho, to California, where Nick is going to medical school.

Hi Jeff and Nick.

Kaden and McKay had a lot of fun playing together. Hi boys.

It was really nice to see Brad and Cathy and their family. They came down from Idaho to see the family and also drop off Breanna and Kalie. The girls are going to stay with Dad and Mom while Kalie goes to school and Breanna works full time.

Merry Christmas . . .

We had a wonderful Christmas at our house. McKay was one excited boy. He loved his new train pajamas and his Wall E video.

He also got a new Wall E computer toy. Did I tell you how much McKay loves Wall E?

Our house was full of love and enthusiasm on Christmas.

I love my dear husband and sweet son so much.

We spent Christmas Eve with my parents. I have the best parents ever.

Icicles Hanging . . .

These first two pictures were taken looking our front door on Christmas morning. We have had tons of snow this year, with a lot of icicles hanging.

These last two pictures were taken outside on Christmas Eve, when the lights were on. It was so beautiful with the icicles hanging down.

Pearson Family Christmas Party . . .

Steven, McKay and our great niece Brynlie.

We had a wonderful Family Christmas Party at my parents house with a lovely dinner. My Dad read the nativity story from Luke 2.

Some of the older kids played a Christmas song with bells. McKay wanted to participate so Jeff was kind enough to let McKay help him.

We had a crazy white elephant gift exchange. Some of the gifts were hilarious, but everyone had a great time.

Everyone had a fun evening together.

Decorations Galore . . .

Steven always hangs icicle lights around the ceiling, it looks so pretty in our living room.

When McKay was a infant, Steven gave this nativity to McKay and I. We love it.

Candles, candles, and more candles. Did I say we love candles.

You've got to have stockings hanging by the fireplace.

Steven, McKay and I are big into Christmas and decorating. We love the holidays.

We Love our Mandi . . .

We both love McKay.

We get together with McKay's birth Mom, Mandi, several times a year. She and her friend, Sarah came over and brought pizza for dinner. Mandi's grandma, Karen, was sick, but we enjoyed an evening with Mandi and Sarah.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow . . .

McKay couldn't wait to go outside and play in the snow. We have had a lot of snowy weather here in Utah, but we will definitely have a white Christmas.

Ward Christmas Party . . .

We had a wonderful ward Christmas party with good food and entertainment. McKay always looks forward to sitting on Santa's lap.

Here McKay was actually sitting down for a few minutes before he started running around.

I love you Steven dear. You are a great husband and father.

Mom and Brynlie had matching colors.

Brynlie's outfit was adorable. She just turned 10 months old.
It is fun to be in the same ward with my parents, Jeff, Natalie and Brynlie.

We enjoyed having Coleman join us at the party.
