Celebrating at the Roof Restaurant . . .

Steven and I went to the Roof Restaurant with all my siblings and parents to celebrate my parents 60 wedding anniversary. My parents had their first date on top of the old Hotel Utah which is now the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We had a wonderful evening.

My Birthday Celebration . . .

My friends, Terri, Norma and Alisa took me to Red Lobster on Friday night to help celebrate my birthday. They brought a lobster over to me and sang happy birthday to me. We had a great dinner and a nice evening.

I have the cutest parents ever. They always take me to lunch on my birthday and always end up paying for our meal. They are the most generous, thoughtful parents ever.

More From My Birthday Celebration . . .

Steven took me to the Chef's Table on Saturday night. We both had a wonderful evening together. I love my husband very much.

On my birthday, Steven and I went to Magleby's to celebrate.

The kids made me so many special cards, they are all so sweet.

Steven bought me a beautiful necklace for my birthday and also a carrot cake for dessert.

My niece Brittany was so sweet to make me this delicious chocolate bundt cake.

Christmas Day . . .

This was the cutest picture ever. McKay was so excited to see that Santa came and ate the cookies. McKay was also the one who wrote the note to Santa this year.

Christmas was on a Sunday this year and our church meeting was from 9:00-10:00. I always love hearing the choir sing beautiful Christmas songs (Taylor was also in the choir this year) and also Brother Larry Dahl shared a Christmas message. I love that Christmas was on a Sunday, it was the best way to start the day. After church, everyone put their pajamas on and we fixed a nice breakfast. We then sat down and slowly peeked in our stockings and started opening our presents. It was a wonderful Christmas Day.

McKay received a huge remote control truck from Santa.

McKay and Faith received these in a big box, they were stocking stuffers. We had the best Christmas ever.

Christmas Eve Pajamas and Party with Parents . . .

I always love giving my kids new pajamas for Christmas. Here they are sitting together on the couch.

I also like to get a picture of them on Christmas Eve around the tree.

We got together with Mom and Dad on Christmas Eve, had dinner and a fun white elephant gift exchange. My parents also gave the kids each a gift, but Taylor wanted the money and they also gave Steven and I money, too. It was a wonderful evening. They sure love Grandma Pearson.

Christmas Caroling and Rice Crispy Houses . . .

We had a wonderful time taking treats to our neighbors and singing Christmas carols this year. Of course, I was taking the picture. The weather was perfect, no snow and not overly cold.

This year the kids made rice crispy houses. Don't Faith and McKay look like they want to eat the houses?

Taylor was kind to cook the rice crispy treats so the kids could decorate the houses. It is always fun to do things together as a family.

Pearson Family Christmas Party . . .

Little Ryat was Baby Jesus. How sweet to see Brynlie holding him.

We had a wonderful party with my entire family at my parents house on Sunday, December 18th. We had a delicious ham dinner, with cheesy potatoes, salads and all the trimmings. Natalie then dressed up all the kids in costume and Grandpa and a few others read from the Bible, to re-enact the story of Mary and Joseph. It was the best evening ever, everyone had a great time.

Annual Christmas Party with Friends . . .

Every year I get together with several of my friends, Terri, Norma and Alisa for a friend's Christmas party. This year we met at Norma's apartment and then went to dinner at the Harvest Restaurant at Thanksgiving Point.

We had a wonderful dinner with good company.

We had to wait for about an hour, but we had an enjoyable evening and great time together.

We then went back to Norma's house to open presents. My friends were really generous this year.

We had a great time together. Merry Christmas friends.

Jessika's Wax Museum and McKay's Christmas Program . . .

Jessika was Annie Oakley for her school's wax museum. She really looked the part.

She held really still during the museum.

McKay looked really nice in his red sweater vest before his school Christmas program.

Faith was at school, so I enjoyed going to his school and watch him perform.

McKay is such a sweet boy. Good job.

Ward Christmas Party . . .

I took my kids to the ward Christmas party. Steven wanted to stay home with Faith.

We sat with Dad and Mom and Jeff and Natalie and girls.

It was a breakfast on Saturday morning.

We Are Thankful for Our Family . . .

We always love the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.

This year, Steven and I spent a quiet Thanksgiving with just our children. We had a wonderful dinner and then my parents stopped by afterwards and we all played the game Apples to Apples. We have been given so many blessings in our lives and have so many things to be thankful for.
